Utrecht Platform for Organoid Technology

Utrecht Platform for Organoid Technology (UPORT) is a central facility within the UMC Utrecht that supports the generation of ‘living biobanks’ of healthy and diseased human tissues. Such biobanks are typically generated using organoid and induced pluripotent stem cell culturing technologies. UPORT provides a logistical infrastructure for rapid and standardized acquisition of human tissues, based on approved protocols for patient inclusion.

The Utrecht Monoclonal Antibody Facility (UMAB) is the antibody facility of UMC Utrecht, specializing in the generation of high-quality monoclonal antibodies targeting surface proteins using a unique cell-based immunization method. In addition UMAB is specialized in sequencing antibody variable regions, as well as the production and purification of newly generated monoclonal antibodies.
