3Rs Centre Utrecht
Utrecht UniversityThe mission of the 3Rs Centre Utrecht (3RCU) is to reduce the use of laboratory animals in research and education. To do so, we follow the three Rs of Replacement, Reduction and Refinement (in Dutch: 3Vs of Vervanging, Vermindering en Verfijning), with a primary focus on Replacement.
AI Labs
Utrecht UniversityUtrecht University and UMC Utrecht's AI Labs are a platform for collaboration between experts from research, business and government. Together, they develop new insights and approaches for harnessing the power of AI and data science to tackle societal challenges.
Cellular Screening Technologies
Utrecht Science ParkThe UMC Utrecht Cellular Screening Technologies platform helps translate pre-clinical cellular disease models into reliable clinical tools. It offers expert consultancy and advanced solutions for standardizing, automating, and scaling up general high-throughput cellular screening.
Find your Flow Cytometry facilities
Discover facilities offering advanced flow cytometry, cell sorting and single-cell analysis. These technologies support immunology, oncology, stem cell research, biomarker studies and functional cell characterization.
Exposome-Scan
Utrecht UniversityA joint Leiden–Utrecht University infrastructure using high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS, GC-MS) to simultaneously measure thousands of chemicals — pesticides, pollutants, metabolites, pharmaceuticals — in blood, urine, and hair. It enables agnostic, hypothesis-free exposure profiling in large population cohorts, linking complex chemical mixtures to health outcomes and pharmaco-exposomics applications.
Innovation Lab (iLab)
Utrecht Science ParkStartups, SMEs, corporates, and public organizations can bring ideas to life at iLab. It connects education, research, and industry, fostering collaboration, hands-on innovation, and early-stage technology development with real-world impact. With ISO-certified labs, advanced equipment, and access to multidisciplinary teams, iLab makes prototyping, testing, and validating concepts easy.
Find your ATMP development and production facilities
Discover facilities supporting the development, testing and production of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), including cell-based, gene-based and tissue-engineered therapies. These services help researchers translate innovative treatments from early-stage development towards clinical application.
Multi-scale Spatial Omics Platform
Utrecht Science ParkThe goal of the Multi-scale Spatial Omics Platform is to make spatial omics approaches more accessible to our UMC Utrecht researchers and beyond. To achieve this, we offer tailored support and guidance to enhance your research with our spatial technologies and strive to nurture a spatial community within UMC Utrecht. We also offer consulting and services to external users.
Netherlands Proteomics Center (NPC)
Utrecht UniversityAccess advanced proteomics infrastructure, mass spectrometry technologies and specialist expertise for the detailed analysis of proteins, protein interactions and their biological functions.
Ombion Centre for Animal-free Biomedical Translation
Utrecht Science ParkOmbion Centre for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation is a centre for valorisation and dissemination of animal-free innovations and expertise. We aim to improve and accelerate the translation of new biomedical innovations to patients and users, at lower costs, and without the use of animals. We offer a professional network, courses, and labs for automation, demonstration and education.
Find your Translational Research facilities
Find facilities that help move discoveries from the lab towards patients, practice or society. These services support validation, implementation, clinical relevance and collaboration across disciplines.
Princess Máxima Center Big Data Core Facility
Utrecht Science ParkThe Big Data Core (BDC) advances biomedical research by developing genomic pipelines, cloud solutions and data management policies for bulk sequencing data in pediatric oncology. Central to making data accessible to researchers is the NL-4C resource. This is a cloud-based data resource and portal developed by the BDC that enables the visualization and exploration of virtual datasets to understand the clinical characteristics and mutational landscape of pediatric cancers within the Dutch population.
Princess Máxima Imaging Center
Utrecht Science ParkThe Princess Máxima Imaging Center offers an advanced imaging infrastructure, expert training, and dedicated experimental support. Our mission is to drive research forward by providing cutting-edge imaging technologies and equipment, enabling researchers to capture the dynamic spatial organization of biological processes using state-of-the-art imaging capabilities.
Single domain antibody services – QVQ
Utrecht Science ParkQVQ is a CRO offering services and reagents around single-domain antibodies (sdAbs, also called VHHs, or nanobodies), including discovery, computational design, production and labeling.
Find your Small particles (nanomedicines, extracellular vesicles, nanoparticles) facilities
Explore facilities working with small particles such as nanomedicines, extracellular vesicles and nanoparticles. These technologies support research into drug delivery, diagnostics, biomarkers and intercellular communication.
